What an absolutely fun-filled evening we had at ChildServe’s Trunk or Treat tonight! Abe had such a blast, and honestly, I think he might have had his eyes on the Ghostbusters car more than the candy! He tried with all his might to get into the car which did not end well for me, but I cannot blame him. It was seriously cool!

The best part of the evening was how inclusive and welcoming the event. It was a sensory- and mobility-friendly event, making it an awesome experience for all kids, no matter their abilities. And the costumes? So creative! We saw everything from spooky skeletons to adorable witches, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a evening out.

Trunk or Treat is such a great way to bring the community together, and this year’s event did not disappoint. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. It’s not just about the candy (though that’s always fun!)—it’s about the smiles, laughter, and community spirit. I’m so glad we went, and I hope we’ll see even more familiar faces there next year!
