You don't know what a day is worth until you have a child who suffered through every single one of them since the day you brought them into this world. Abram suffered immensely for two and a half long years before he was able to have a good day. In 261 days, my son has not only gained seizure freedom, he has also gained cognitive ability, independence and a fierce toddler attitude. He can do puzzles, he can walk and run, he has a mean throw, laughs, loves and gives the best hugs. One year ago, we weren't even sure where his life was going after tremendously terrible side effects of commonly prescribed anti-epileptic drugs. We had to fight for a diagnosis and now we have to fight our government for a right to give our child the medicine his DOCTORS felt he needed. 261 Days Seizure Free and Counting.
Everyone, please join us next Tuesday, March 22nd for the Rally to show support for Iowa's Sick and Suffering!

Our legislators are in session now and we need your support at the Capitol. This is a Rally being held
in support of HF2384.

We need faces of Iowans on the Capitol Steps at Noon in downtown Des Moines, to show our Legislators we support for a comprehensive medical cannabis program in Iowa. Please, come to stand and speak for those who cannot.

I speak for Abe. Who do you speak for?

    About Me

Erin is a green-haired, tattoo-covered mama powered by sarcasm, iced coffee, and the occasional emotional spiral.

She’s raising an incredible son with a rare genetic condition, advocating with sharp knowledge and a softer heart — because both matter.

She's trying not to lose her mind in a house that includes her husband, her son, her mother, a team of no less than five workers, and approximately 3,000 daily interruptions.

She’s got a sixth sense for fake people, a deep love for horror movies, and a soft spot for anyone who’s ever felt like too much and not enough at the same time.

Erin doesn’t pretend life is perfect. She shows up messy, honest, and real—whether she’s in advocacy mode, snack-fetching mode, or “why is everything a mess” mode.

She’s built of grit, wit, compassion, and just enough rage to get things done.
